Winfred Don "Win" Winegar, 72, of Aurora, IN, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in Aurora, IN.

He was born Thursday, February 18, 1937 in Mitchell, IN, Son of the late Roy Clayton Winegar and the late Mary Payton Winegar.

He was a member of Aurora First Baptist Church. He was a Pastor for 20 years. Pastor Winegar was the pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church from (1968-1973). He was an avid Butler fan, better known as Butler Bulldog. He retired as Director of River Valley Resources after 17 years of service.

Surviving are Wife, Joyce Ann (Box) Winegar of Aurora, IN; Son, Edward Clayton (Melanie) Winegar of Battle Creek, MI; Sisters, Evelyn Winegar Hall of Bedford, IN & Anita Winegar Johnston of Oklahoma City, OK; Grandchildren, James Eric (Sharon), Deidre Ann, & Alexander Clayton Callahan; Jessica Lynn, Bret Aaron, and Ian Jay Winegar. He was preceded in death by Daughter, Doris Ann Callahan.


Services

Friends will be received 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, October 30, 2009 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at Aurora First Baptist Church, 6060 Blair Rd., Aurora, Indiana Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bill Secrest officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hogan Hill Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
