Ida Ross, 73, of Aurora, Indiana , passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

She was born Saturday, January 22, 1938 in Louisville, KY, Daughter of the late William Cobb and the late Myrtle Hammons Cobb.

She was a homemaker, a member of Aurora Moose Lodge Auxiliary and former American Legion and VFW Auxiliary member. Ida enjoyed retirement and was an avid reader. She loved life, the river and boating.

Surviving are her loving Husband of 54 years, Frank M Ross of Aurora, IN; Sons, Benjamin Scott Ross of Oxford, OH, Frank M. Ross Jr. of Trenton, OH; Grandchild, Lindsey Marie Ross.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
Joyce M. Messer

Joyce M. Messer, 84, of Manchester, IN, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at her home.

She was born Thursday, August 25, 1927, Daughter of the late John Schubert and the late Laura Hilliard Schubert.

She worked as a Laborer for FSI Printing with over 10 years of service, and previously worked as a cashier for Shillito's.

Joyce was married to her loving husband for over 58 years. She really enjoyed crafts and collecting dolls, but time spent with family was her greatest joy.

Surviving are Son, Randy Messer of Manchester, IN; Daughters, Judith Messer of Cincinnati, OH, and Rebecca (Dwight) Cornett of Manchester, IN; 8 Grandchildren, and 13 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Darrell Messer and Son, Larry Messer.
Randy L. Wilson

Randy Lee Wilson, 53, of Aurora, IN, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

He was born Wednesday, October 8, 1958 in Milan, Indiana, Son of the late Harold Lee Wilson and the late Sonja Sue Aurthur Wilson.

He served his Country as a member of the United States Army.

Randy worked as a Laborer for Top Quality. He enjoyed puzzles, loved the river, fishing, camping, and just being outside. Randy's main enjoyment besides being with his family was wood working. He loved to make things with wood and was a true craftsman.

Surviving are his wife, Vicki Wilson of Aurora, IN; Sons, Jason Herzner, and Robert Herzner both of Aurora, IN, Richard Herzner of Bright, IN; Daughter, Michelle Miles of Greendale, IN; Hannah Washnock of Aurora, IN; Brothers, Timmy Wilson and Jerry Wilson both of Greensburg, IN; Sister, Holly Peters of Greensburg, IN; 11 Grandchildren.
James Carl Maples

James Carl "J.C." Maples, 80, of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

He was born Monday, February 23, 1931 in Otterville, MO , Son of the late James Edward Maples and the late Lillie Larimore Maples.

He served his Country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. J.C. worked as a Dept Supervisor for Anchor Glass Mfg., retiring after over 27 years of service. He was a member of Greendale Baptist Church, American Legion Post # 239 and Anchor Glass Retiree Club. J. C. was a "Fix-It" man, and he could fix just about anything. He enjoyed working on cars, bowling and especially golf. Spending time with his loving family meant the most to him. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Betty Lou Maples of Lawrenceburg, IN; Daughters, Vickie Lea Whitham of Lawrenceburg, IN, Sandy (Chuck) Downey of Baltimore, OH; Sons, Douglas (Christi) Maples & Thomas (Jody) Maples, both of Lawrenceburg, IN; Sister, Margaret Taylor and Sister-In-Law, Delores Maples, both of Sedalia, MO; 12 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces & Nephews.

He was preceded in death by Parents and numerous siblings.
Robert L. Kincade

Robert Louis (Bob) Kincade, 70, of Dillsboro, IN, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Aurora, Indiana.

He was born Tuesday, January 21, 1941 in Dearborn County, Son of the late Roscoe Kincade and the late Fern Morehead.

Bob enjoyed restoring old classic cars. He loved car shows, hunting, fishing, and riding on the Quad. Robert liked watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhart and Tony Stewart. One of his favorite activities was just hanging out with his grandson Chris. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Billy and Jimmy Kincade and Patty Patrick.
