Ray "Pops" Brumley

Ray "Pops" Brumley, 78,  of Aurora, IN,  passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 in Dillsboro, IN.
He was born Tuesday, April 7, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Son of the late Samuel Brumley and the late Grace Roberts Welch.  He served his Country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Ray worked in Maintenance for Monsanto for many years.  He also was a mechanic.  He was a member of  the Aurora American Legion.  Ray enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was also a very talented artist.  He drew and painted.  Ray's family was very important to him.  His faith was the most important thing in his life.  He enjoyed talking with friends and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his daughter, Cathy Ann Standish of Aurora, IN; son, Steven (Kimberly) Brumley of Dover, IN;  sisters, Georgia (Alton) Craft of Bright, IN, Edna Thomas of Valley Spring, CA, Lorene Waller of Yucipa, CA; grandchildren, Jason Standish and Eric Brumley.
Friends will be received from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.    
Services will be held at the Funeral Home  at 11:00 am Thursday with Pastor Arno Wilson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery,  Dillsboro, IN 47018.
