Kenneth Ray Luhrsen, 70, of Vevay, IN, formerly
of Aurora, IN died Monday, September 29, 2008 in Cincinnati, OH.
He was born Thursday, July 7, 1938 in Aurora, Indiana, Son of the late Ernest F. Luhrsen and the late Ruby Lowe Luhrsen.
He served his Country as an Army Veteran.
He was a member of Vevay American Legion (formerly Aurora American Legion), Aurora Eagles, Vevay VFW and NRA. He was an avid hunter.
He worked as a Research Analyst for Proctor & Gamble, retiring after over 24 years of service.
Surviving are Wife, Joan Luhrsen of Vevay, IN; Sons, Kelly Luhrsen of Lawrenceburg, IN, Terry Luhrsen of Aurora, IN; Stepson, Tony Crider of Cincinnati, OH; Stepdaughter, Tina Barricklow of Bright, IN; Sister-in-Law, Audrey Luhrsen of Aurora, IN; Grandchildren, Trent & Terrill Rae Luhrsen.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Ernest F. Luhrsen & Ruby Low Luhrsen and Brother: Donald Luhrsen.
Friends will be received 5:00 - 9:00 PM,
Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, 9670 Mt.
Tabor Road, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the Church, Friday, October 3, 2008 at 11:00 am with Wayne Daugherty officiating.
Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN. Color Guard Services will be conducted by the Korean War Veterans and the American Veterans from Aurora & Vevay, IN.
