Joseph E. Jackson, 81, of Aurora, IN,  died Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

He was born Tuesday, December 20, 1927 in Hamilton County, Ohio, Son of the late Joseph Jackson and the late Viola Miller Jackson.

He served his Country as a WWII Army Veteran.  He was a member of the Aurora American Legion and a former member of the Aurora VFW and The Eagles Lodge.  He worked as a Truck Driver for Green Fuel Supply, and prior to that he worked for Morain Concrete for 18 years.

Surviving are his Wife, Marlene Lynch Jackson of Aurora, IN;  Sons, Dennis (Judy) Jackson of Dillsboro, IN, Joseph (Jane) Jackson of Dillsboro, IN, David (Kimberley) Jackson of Moores Hill, IN;  Daughters, Sharon  Probst of Aurora, IN, Carolyn (Gary) Courter of Aurora, IN, Donna Wingate of Aurora, IN, Barbara (Danny) Richards; 15 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Daughter, Brenda Jackson.
 


Services

Friends will be received 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, July 20, 2009 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Tuesday,  at 11:00 am with Pastor Charles Hill officiating.

Interment will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH.  Color Guard Services will be conducted by the Korean War Veterans and the American Veterans.
