Estal Charles Craig, 89, of Aurora, IN, died Thursday February 10, 2011 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

He was born Friday, July 8, 1921 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Son of the late Phillip Craig and the late Anna Morling Craig.

Estal was a WWII Veteran who served his Country as a member of the United States Army from July 1942 through October 1945.

He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Manchester. He loved hunting, fishing, traveling and dancing.

He was a machinist for AD Cook, then Continental Manufacturing. He was also self-employed with Estal Craig Construction, retiring after over 14 years of service.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Pauline Ruth Craig of Aurora, IN; 2 Sons, Marvin (Vera) Craig of Littleton, CO, Melvin (Susan) Craig of Aurora, IN; Sister, Anna Marie Fox of Bright, IN; 2 Grandchildren, Brian (Sheree) Craig of Aurora, IN, Jason Craig of Aurora, IN; Great-Grandchildren, Brayson & Brooklyn Craig.


Friends will be received 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday February 15, 2011 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday February 16, 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor Ken Witt officiating.

Interment will follow in the Craven Cemetery in Milan, Indiana.
