Donald Earl Grimsley, 77, of Moores Hill, IN, died Monday, October 26, 2009.

He was born Thursday, January 14, 1932 in Milan, IN, Son of the late Percey Earl Grimsley and the late Beulah Warner Grimsley.

Mr. Grimsley served his Country as an overseas Air Force Veteran in 1950. He worked as a Railroad Engineer for CSX, retiring after over 30 years of service.

He was a Graduate of Moores Hill High School (Second Generation), was a member of the Moores Hill American Legion Post #209. Mr. Grimsley enjoyed farming, planting corn, soy beans and raising hogs. He loved to watch birds and was very knowledgeable about our local birds. He was an avid listener of Public Radio and Garrison Keilor's "Prairie Home Companion".

Surviving are his Wife, Tessa Grimsley of Moores Hill, IN; Son, Paul Grimsley of Moores Hill, IN; Daughter, Andrea Grimsley (Husband: Jamon Zeiler) of Aurora, IN; Brother, Decker (Wife-Edith) Grimsley of Moores Hill, IN; Grandchildren, Kyle & Trisha Grimsley.


Memorial visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, immediately following visitation.
