Calvin H. "Blurp" Klingelhoffer, 89, of Aurora, IN, died Sunday, June 20, 2010 in Bloomington, IN.

He was born Thursday, May 19, 1921 in Aurora, Indiana, Son of the late George Calvin Klingelhoffer and the late Lou Hamah Hilker Klingelhoffer

He served his Country during WWII in the Army Corp of Engineers.

He was a graduate from Indiana University, a member of the IU Varsity Club, Lifetime member of IU Alumni Association and an Acacia Fraternity Member. Mr Klingelhoffer was also a member of the Aurora American Legion and the United Church of Christ .

He worked as a Operating Manager for the Tri-County Store for Sears Department Store, retiring after over 32 years of service .

Surviving are Sons, Kit (Wife, Rita) Klingelhoffer of Bloomington, IN, Kevin Klingelhoffer of Aurora, IN; Daughter, Connee (Husband James) Headley of Bloomington, IN; 9 Grandchildren & 9 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Jeanne Teaney Klingelhoffer.


Friends will be received 11:00 - 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Wednesday, at 1:00 pm, immediately following visitation. 

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
