Bernice Lee Spaulding, 79, of Aurora, IN, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

She was born Friday, April 4, 1930 in Dearborn County, IN, Daughter of the late Walter R. Henry and the late Hazel Fairfield Henry.

Mrs. Spaulding was a loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church Aurora for several years, enjoyed singing in the choir,  taught Sunday School and belonged to the churches Women's Group. She was a member of Hillforest Historical Society and sang in the Dearborn Community Choir for many years. She loved to sing and loved to read.  She worked as a Nurse for Dr. Leslie Baker, retiring after over 40 years of service.

Surviving are her Husband, Francis Spaulding of Aurora, IN; Daughters, Sue (Jerry) Geisler of Lawrenceburg, IN, Wendy (Tom) Gehring of Lawrenceburg, IN; Brother, Gene (Nancy) Henry of Florence, KY; Grandchildren, Allison Groce, Megan McGraw, Leslie Gehring & Jessica York; Great Grandchildren, Conner & Camden Groce & Grayson McGraw.


Friends will be received 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be at 8:00 pm following visitation at the Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Beatley officiating. 

Private graveside services will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
